Exciting Update: Business Hub V2.0 Is On Its Way!

So, it’s been a month that I’ve been talking about Business Hub v2.0 coming to life on my emails, X, Instagram, LinkedIn, and anywhere else you can imagine. I’ve decided to write a full breakdown of what my plan for V2.0 is.

As you may already know, Business Hub for Notion is one of my top products in all terms, from quality and depth to the number of sales. So many of you small business owners and startup founders have loved it, so it’s quite a big deal for me to make it even better and improve the sections that need more care than others.

Before beginning to break down v2.0 and tell you how it would be and which changes and new areas are coming, let’s have a quick chat about why I want to update the Business Hub in the first place.

Why V2.0?

So, it’s been almost two years since I launched the initial version of Business Hub back in 2022, and the amount of love I received from the customers of the Business Hub made me realize that this is not something to create and forget about. This system needs constant love and attention from its creator (me), so I’ve quickly created a list of future features and areas that could be on the Business Hub to work on later.

From 2022 until now, as I’m writing this, Business Hub went from V0.5 to V1.8.6, which is the latest and most powerful version of Business Hub containing the most powerful finance tracker and planner for businesses! However, my speed of updating the Business Hub to newer versions wasn’t enough compared to Notion’s own product, which has been releasing new features to its core product quickly, especially in the past few months…

So, there are pretty awesome new features I can use in the Business Hub today that weren’t a thing or doable two years or one year ago. I need to adapt Business Hub and use these powerful features to make sure that it will always be the best business management tool.

Also, I’m using Business Hub for my businesses every day and incorporate it in all my digital businesses deeply. I can’t imagine managing and tracking all these without having the Business Hub, so I can benefit from all these new features if I incorporate them into my Business Hub.

Another reason is that when I launched the Business Hub, the number of areas was 1/4 of today’s version, so there is a need for more organization, more advanced formulas and integrations, using quick actions, unifying all areas into one design system and flow so it will be easier for you and me to adapt to Business Hub and use it every day…

This list could go on and on, but let’s not make it longer than it is now. Let’s quickly get to the next section to tell you what is coming and what to expect from Business Hub.

The Evolution to Business Hub V2.0: A Game-Changing Update

V 2.0 Roadmap:

  • A new centralized dashboard to help you manage your entire business even faster than before. With this, you don’t have to go over many pages and areas to find a document or create a new task for a team or area of your business. You can also quickly see and analyze your team’s status, work that has been done or is being done, tasks that are not being completed on time, and members who are missing deadlines. Additionally, you can view your financial status and more without having to leave the dashboard!
  • Huge updates for all older sections like the project management section, OKRs, marketing management, sales, and every other section. (I’m making them from scratch)
  • A new Centralized Project Management Hub 1000% more powerful and comprehensive than the current version. Whether you’re like me, a solo founder, or having to manage a team of 5, 10, or 100, this new project management system makes your life easier in a way that you can’t imagine not having it anymore. With this centralized project management for your business, you can manage all your teams, members, and works in one place! The good stuff is that you don’t have to give everyone access to this page, but you can share access to smaller areas of the project management hub related to each member, so you’re not worried about one of your designers seeing your finance team’s tasks and works being done.
  • Enhanced data visualization with advanced charts, graphs, and dashboards to provide better insights into business performance across all areas. we must put these new chart feature of Notion to work, right?
  • Customizable workflows to create and customize workflows for different business processes, improving efficiency and consistency.
  • Integration hub as a central place to manage and set up integrations with popular business tools and services, enhancing the Hub’s connectivity and functionality.
  • Automated report generation for various aspects of your business, saving time and ensuring consistent communication.
  • Time tracking and productivity analytics
  • Knowledge base and training module
  • And more!

I can’t say exactly when V2.0 will be coming out, but I’m doing my best to release the complete version by the end of 2024. If I were you, I wouldn’t trust this timing, as so many things can happen. I’m running a one-person business, and other than updating my top products, I have to handle marketing and growth, customer care, maintenance, security, finance, and so many more tasks all alone 🙂
