Lingubit, learning a new language made simple

The founders of the language learning app came to us with an idea and insight. Four weeks later they had a fully designed prototype, ready for development.

Phase 1 / Explore

The first thing that we faced was a raw idea and a few insights about the core idea of the app. We started by brainstorming, doing competitor research, and user research to gain a better understanding of who we are going to design for, what features to design and reviewing product requirements, and how to stand out from competitors.

Phase 2 / Define

After exploring and gathering the data we need to support our decisions, we start defining the problem and solutions. We created 10+ problem and solution statements and start to pick the most crucial solutions to build their minimum viable product.

Phase 3 / Design

Now that we have a solid insight into the users, their pains and needs, and the market and competitors. it’s time to design.

First things first, We start crafting the signup flow with this goal in our mind to make the signup process engaging and fun to complete.

After finishing the signup flow, we start working on the rest section of the app, such as the home section to organize everything, collections, quizzes, learning, leaderboards, and profile.

In our research, we draw the conclusion that to make users more engaged and make the process of learning new words fun to complete, we need to make a leader board to gamify the learning time and create a moment of joy for users.
